This project was a collaborative effort I did with my classmates. For the Professional Development course we were tasked with the opportunity to work on your own challenge! We decided to create a Minecraft mod that adds an electrical system to the game. The goal was to create a system that would allow players to generate and use electricity in the game, similar to real-world electrical systems.
We currently have a working prototype that includes the following features:
- Power Generation: Players can generate electricity using a generator block. The generator block can be powered by a variety of fuel sources, including coal, wood, and lava.
- Power Transportation: Players can transport electricity using wires. The wires can be placed on the ground and can connect to other blocks, allowing players to create complex electrical systems.
- Power Consumption: Players can consume electricity using an oven block. The oven block can be powered by electricity, allowing players to cook food and smelt ores without using traditional fuel sources.
